SIJIL ANNUAL 2010 - DATELINE 15 OCTOBER 2009

To all Members of Terengganu Bar,

Please take note that Secretary has fowarded email from the Bar Council regarding the application for Sijil Annual 2010. The email are self-explanatatory. The dateline is not later than 15 October 2009. Kindly ensure all the relevants documents are attached together with the application to avoid delay.


Please use the latest form as attached in the email by the Bar Council. We have received complaints from the Bar Council that members did not use the standard form and had typed their own. This usually will resulted in error and mistake. Thus, please use the form attached therewith only.


The forms are made available for members at Secretary's office and Legal Aid Centre (LAC). You may also download it at the Malaysian Bar Website www.malaysianbar.org.my/sijil_annual.html and via the email fowarded to you. The forms attached were:-

4) Sijil Annual Guidelines




The following process may be followed before application for the Sijil Annual 2010 is made:-



1) Make sure all your client's account be sent for auditing purposes as soon as possible. This must also include all account at the branch offices.


2) Ensure that State Bar Subscription Fee 2009 have been paid. For members who have branch firm or partners in other states, kindly pay the fee for the partners as well. Legal Assistant is excluded for branch offices.



3) Please check that all receipt for payment to Bar Council made before 30 June 2009 has been duly received. If you have not received/misplace/lost it, copies can be requested directly from Bar Council. Some fees may be imposed for the copies.


4) Login to Jardine Website at http://www.myPII.com.my/ . If members want to do it manually, just download the form. Fill it and then fax/post directly to them. For those who want to submit it online, use the userID and password given to login and fill it online. However please read the userguide before any attempt is made to fill in the form online. You must have a valid and working email address if you want to submit online. They will notify the success of your application etc thru the email provided. For members who have submitted thru online last year, they have made it easy where last year information will be copied and you can proceed to amend it accordingly to suit this year application.


5) So, when all the relevant documents have been received, please proceed to sent the application directly to Bar Council. Kindly follow up your application with them from time to time. Your practising certificate will be sent to the Secretary office and we will notify the firm to collect it.

This is only a general guideline. For new established firm, new practising lawyer etc, kindly consult the Bar Council if you have any queries regarding this matter.


We hope you take immediate action on this matter taking into consideration the Hari Raya Public Holiday on 20th & 21st September 2009 and Deepavali Holiday on the 17th October 2009.

Bereh ajer. Berapa kali nak bayar. Nanti state bar tolong arrange dengan Bar Council.. special request...tapi takut kekgi PC pun dapat ansur-ansur jugak...renewable monthly basis.. he he he...kang 1/1/2010 kena object pulak kang...
