Invitation to Attend Yayasan Bantuan Guaman Kebangsaan (“YBGK”) Trainings
in Kelantan and Kuala Lumpur
The establishment of Yayasan Bantuan Guaman Kebangsaan (“YBGK”) provides, for the first time, a comprehensive and sustainable legal aid programme for those ensnared in the criminal justice system.
We are pleased to inform Members that the next two YBGK trainings will take place in Kelantan and Kuala Lumpur. The details of the training sessions are as follows:
A) KELANTAN
Date : 3 Nov 2012 (Saturday)
Time : 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Venue : Hotel Raudah (Tel: 09-747 0055)

B) KUALA LUMPUR
Date : 24 Nov 2012 (Saturday)

We encourage all lawyers who would like to do YBGK work to attend these training sessions. YBGK has the potential to provide real relief to thousands of Malaysians upon arrest, at remand hearings and when they are charged in court — we need the assistance of Members to ensure that we have the numbers to meet the challenge!
